Magdeburg Training Workshop

A new training workshop was held for RISE partners in Germany- Magdeburg, organized by Otto-Von Guericke University.
The purpose of this workshop was to let all RISE partners to have a close look on the automated HR system in Magdeburg and to be trained on some selected components.
Dr. Naoum Jamous started the meeting with a welcome note, and then gave the floor to Prof. Andreas Nuernberger, who introduced Otto-Von-Guericke University (OVGU) and its achievements to the participants.
Prof. Walid Salameh, the coordinator of RISE project, thanked OVGU for hosting the workshop and presented the program of the 3 days training to the attendees. After that, the HR staff of OVGU joined the meeting and delivered a presentation about the automated system of HR at OVGU whereas there was a wide discussions and enquiries by the participants.
In the second day, each partner reviewed their HR automated system and their HRM tools and at the end they come out with a recommendation to insert an accreditation system for human resources departments.
On 25 July, a management meeting was held for all contact persons to discuss the progress of the project, achieved tasks and preparations for the final conference.
